About Karen Manning
I've always believed the most memorable moments in life are the ones that bring people together. For many years I’ve worked in hospitality and events including along side my husband, The Dubliner Irish bar and Restaurant which I owned and ran for over ten years
I have had the privilege of being involved in countless celebrations and special occasions and I’ve learned that its often the personal touches, the laughter and the people themselves that make the occasion truly memorable. Becoming The Celtic Celebrant feels like a natural continuation of that journey.
With my irish roots and genuine love of people I will create your ceremony with a warm relaxed and meaningful feeling. Based in Methven with the southern alps on my doorstep I am available for ceremonies throughout Canterbury and beyond.

I love weaving in Celtic touches like a trinity blessing or an old Celtic reading, as much or as little as feels right for you.

Karen is a registered independent celebrant with New Zealand government Births, Deaths and Marriages.
Professionally Trained
Karen obtained her qualification through The Celebrant School of New Zealand.
Association Member
Karen is a member of Celebrants Association of New Zealand (CANZ).
